When most people think of stamps they think ‘postage’ but when we think of stamps we think ‘Approved’. Yes, it’s official! And not just Facebook official. We are now in the custom ink stamp business!
As one of Tauranga’s fastest growing and innovative print
companies, we are always keeping our eyes open for new opportunities. So when
we were offered the opportunity to take over a local custom ink stamp business,
we could see this would be a match made in heaven. After all, ink and
paper are our core business, and we can see how much people still love using
custom ink stamps for their businesses too.
“The traditional stamp with stamp pad can be made in pretty much any size you want,” explains Brendon. “The smallest size we’ve made was 10mm2 and the largest was 110mm x 90mm which is about as big as you could manage anyway.”
From certifying legal documents to quality control in packhouses and adding a logo to retail paper bags, custom ink stamps are used across a wide variety of industries and in an even wider variety of applications for communicating important information or branding.
Brendon, the original owner of this business, has moved into Pure Print to show us the ropes and get our team trained on customising and manufacturing these wonderful products.

We also have a range of self-inking stampers which are available in a set range of sizes and can be custom made with whatever words or images you desire – within the limits of the ink pad size, of course.
There is also a nice colour range to choose from too including black, white, red, green, blue or violet, made from a specialist ink we import from Europe.
A printer by trade, Brendon got into the stamp business about 5yrs ago and is now enjoying handing over the reigns to our team here at Pure Print.
