Canva File Specs

When sending through a file that’s been created in Canva, please make sure you are using thefollowing guidelines and settings.

File/document dimensions:

Your file/document should be set to the finished size you want it to be
i.e. A4 (297 x 210mm). This should be done at the beginning of your
design, otherwise you can resize existing templates if you have
canva pro. Please note, if we need to resize or adjust your file there
may be additional costs.

Bleed
If your artwork has colour or imagery that goes to the edge of your page, you’ll need to have ‘bleed’ set up in your file and make sure your artwork extends to this area.

Exporting/Saving Your File:

When it’s time to save your file, please make sure these options are
selected.

  • File Type > PDF Print
  • Crop marks and bleed box checked
  • Colour profile – CMYK if possible

(note, this is only avilable with canva pro)
Please make sure that the ‘Flatten PDF’ box is not selected.
